GOD

Loving, Holy, Eternal Creator; God exists in three persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit. These three are coequal and one God. The three have the same character, perfection and attributes. God is entirely holy and worthy of our worship, confidence and obedience.

JESUS

Jesus is the divine Son of God. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, His miracles, His bodily and atoning death, victorious resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, His intercession and His imminent return in power and glory.

HOLY SPIRIT

The divine person, the Holy Spirit, was promised and sent to the early Church for empowerment in Christian living and demonstrations of God’s power. The Holy Spirit is still present and active in the life of every believer through fruit and gifts. The Holy Spirit is our abiding comforter and helper, and leads us in declaring Jesus.

BIBLE

The Bible is a cohesive collection of books that all tell one story about God’s love for people demonstrated through Jesus. It is infallible, authoritative and everlasting. We believe that it was written by human authors who were inspired by God and that it is the foundation of Christian doctrine.

HUMANITY

God created both men and women in His image, and humans are the supreme object of His creation. All of us have been marred by sin and separated from God. We are unable to repair this relationship through our own effort or merit, thus we are in need of a Savior.

SALVATION

Salvation is God’s free gift to all people. We must accept His gift of salvation. Salvation cannot be earned or achieved through our own works. When we choose to declare Jesus, turn from a self-ruled life and turn toward faith in Him, we are saved. Jesus offers us forgiveness of our sins, salvation from their penalty and eternal relationship with God.

ETERNITY

People were created to exist eternally. We will either exist eternally with God through salvation, or eternally separated from God by sin.

We believe that the Bible is God’s Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives.

We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons:

God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.

We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.

We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the ‘new birth’ we must apply our faith in the finished work of the Cross. .

We believe in the power and significance of the Church and the necessity of believers to meet regularly together for fellowship, prayer and the ‘breaking of bread’.

We believe that God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives which is to worship God, fulfill our role in the Church and serve the community in which we live.

We believe that God has transformed and healed us so that we can live healthy and blessed lives in order to help others more effectively.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.
